Whitehouse calls for climate amendment to Sandy aid bill

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., offered an amendment to the Senate's post-Sandy relief bill that would declare that the Senate considers climate change action is in nation's economic interest, The Hill reports.
