The Federal Communications Commission needs to update its tests on cell phones to make sure people are not absorbing harmful levels of radio-frequency energy, said a report by the Government Accountability Office.
Although no link has been found between cell phones and health problems like tumors, research is ongoing, and the FCC needs to keep its tests on cell phones updated with the latest scientific findings, the GAO said.
