The bill, titled the American Energy Manufacturing Technical Corrections Act, was approved by the Senate by a voice vote. It sailed through the House on a 398-2 vote two days ago.

The bill contains measures that were part of an energy efficiency bill by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., and Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, that they hope to bring back up for consideration after the new Congress is sworn into office in January.
