Senate Dems seek climate change amendment in defense authorization

Senate Democrats are looking to hold a vote on an amendment to a defense authorization bill proposed by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., that would require the government to take climate change into account during security planning, The Hill reports.
