Search ends for missing Black Elk platform worker

Black Elk Energy ended the search for Jerome Malagapo, a platform worker who went missing after a fire broke out at a company oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico on Friday, The Times-Pacyune reports. The missing crewman, Jerome Malagapo of the Philippines, was employed by Grand Isle Shipyard Inc., which had a contract with Black Elk to refurbish the platform.
