NRC defends study on Diablo Canyon earthquake stability

At meetings in San Luis Obispo, Calif. the Nuclear Regulatory Commission stood by a study that said the Diablo Canyon nuclear plant would be able to withstand an earthquake across a newly discovered fault line, The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports.
