Arabic-language media outlet Al-Hayat conveys statements by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal insisting that the Iran-backed terror group remains opposed to a Palestinian state that falls short of including all Israeli territory. The declaration contradicts somewhat muddled reports from early last week - quickly denied at the time by multiple Hamas officials - to the effect that Hamas was in fact ready to cease pursuing the eradication of the Jewish state.
