EPA rule protects volunteers from Clean Water liability

The Environmental Protection Agency announced a new rule to protect volunteers who assist the in the cleanup of polluted mine sites from facing liability under the Clean Water Act should the mine continue to release toxic waste, The Associated Press reports.
