De Boer: Japan, Russia, Canada face pressure to extend carbon reduction pledge

Former UN climate chief Yvo de Boer said Japan, Russia and Canada are under "significant pressure" to renew carbon-reduction promises, saying denial would threaten the Kyoto Protocol, Bloomberg reports.
