Court order could hasten nuclear waste decision

Though the lame-duck Congress faces a number of challenges, including the fiscal cliff, a federal court order could push the issue of nuclear waste storage into high Congressional priority, especially if the court orders the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to start licensing hearings on the Yucca Mountain site, The New York Times reports.
