Several accounts in the Middle East reveal that top Iranian and Hezbollah military leaders have been killed or injured in recent days and weeks. YNet reports that Hezbollah's #2, Naim Qassem, was wounded this week when a convoy traveling between Beirut and Damascus was attacked. Senior Syrian officers were also injured or killed. The Times of Israel published an account that Iranian General Hassan Shateri died last month in an airstrike attributed to Israel that targeted a weapons convoy heading from Syria to a Hezbollah base.
